Northlanders is a clothing startup, inspired by Scandinavian history, culture and mythology. New brand is targeted at enthusiasts of historical reenactment and people interested in the history of the Vikings. We were responsible for brand strategy and visual solutions. We designed visual identity system, website and illustrations for clothing.
We tear our place in modern world. We sharpen our values on the edge of our lifestyle. For us, brotherhood is more than just a concept. As we stand shoulder to shoulder, fear does not affect us.
Northalnders is a place where culture of the past, transits to the present. We want to reveal to the world, that there still is something real – people, which blood is filled by true values of strength, courage, brotherhood and respect for the past.
Falu Rodfarg (Falu Rod)Color owes its origins to the red hue of residues after extraction of copper from a mine in the village of Fallun. It is a distinctive symbol of the Nordic countries (red barn). It strongly associated with strength and courage.
Ancient steelCool steel color accompanied brave northerners from the beginning. We chose it to emphasize the nature of the warrior and the individualist.
